3 Tips for a SMOOTH back to school workout schedule



Could any one of us have predicted we would be at home for work and school and workout in the Fall of 2020? I don’t think anyone in Hollywood has seen a script like this before. It’s been said that truth is stranger than fiction and in these COVID times, we all feel it important to play it safe and keep our surroundings as tight and controlled as possible. Tight and Controlled...that sounds like Pilates! If you have been thinking of trying Pilates, now is the perfect opportunity. A way to move and work your mind and body. A few tips to help you stay sane during stressful times...

FIRST...Schedule your "YOU" TIME everyday. With school and work at home, taking time to reset your brain and body has never been more important. It is the self care we all need. Take a walk, schedule an online Pilates session to hold you accountable and improve the way you move in the world.

SECOND...just breathe. Take a minute and just feel your breath go in through your nose and then feel the breath go out your nose. Focus on nothing but your breath going in and breath going out. Just one minute. If you are ever stressed, try this method for clearing your mind.

THIRD...do something for someone else. An act of kindness or a smile can change someone’s perspective and brighten their day and in turn this can make your perspective brighter and happier.
